DOGS OF THE WEEK -MOLLY, LADY and BEAU
MOLLY - Beautiful 6 year old brindle lurcher Molly has lived with her owner since she was a puppy, but sadly his marriage has broken up and he now has no choice but to leave Molly on her own for 8 hours a day while he is at work. She gets lonely and unhappy and has been chewing the door, and her owner has made the very difficult decision to look for a new home for Molly with someone who will be able to spend more time with her. She gets on very well with other dogs, so could happily live with one, but she cannot live with a cat. Molly has a beautiful nature, is very friendly and is brilliant with both adults and children, and is a very affectionate dog who loves to have a cuddle. She gives a paw and understands and obeys other basic commands, and is very good on and off the lead. She is fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you may be able to give Molly a new home, please ring her owner John on 07809 617771. Molly is in Nottingham. Home offers will be home checked.
PERMANENT OR FOSTER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED. Beautiful 9 year old greyhound Lady is urgently looking for a permanent or foster home because her owner has had a major heart attack and when she comes out of hospital she will not be well enough in the long term to look after her. At the moment the owner's daughter is staying at her Mum's house with Lady, but this is a short term arrangement and we would like to find this lovely old greyhound a permanent or foster home she could go straight into rather than bring her back to kennels. Lady is a very gentle girl who is good with other dogs and with children, but cannot live with cats. She has been spayed and is vaccinated and micro-chipped. and is vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you would like to offer a new home for Lady, please contact Essex Greyhound Rescue on 0796 7327544 and ask for Julie. Photo on the adopt a dog page.
BEAU - Beautiful Beau is being cared for by his owner Amie because her Mum's ill-health means that she can no longer care for him. Sadly Amie is not able to keep Beau and she has had to make the heartbreaking decision to look for a new home for him. He is such a lovely boy, but is not good around other dogs so will have to go to a home with no other pets. Amie want the best life for her boy so can anyone give him an amazing home and loads of love? Or do you know anyone that can? She would still like to see him now and again (more often if whoever homes him will allow me to). Amie would love to be able to find him a home and get him settled ASAP as he's been through a lot. If you may be able to give Beau a new home, or would like to know more about him, pleas ring Amie on 07581409925 or e-mail email@example.com Beau is in Kent, but can be re-homed outside this area.
