| Information: Beautiful Buddy came into us from a stray pound situation.
This lad has the most gentle, sweet persona and is what we describe as a spook as he is a very nervous boy at times. Buddy has been fabulous with all the other dogs at the kennels both big and small but is not cat friendly. Although Buddy is still in kennels he is clean in the main and we do not envisage there being problems house training him. He travels like a dream and just settles down to rest. Out on walks Buddy is very non re active to other dogs big and small and doesnt lunge or bounce when he see's cats. He does need some confidence building though in traffic scenarios and when someone recently slammed a car door he tried to bolt as it was so loud it terrified him. Buddy's idea situation would be in a home where there is someone around most of the time to continue working with confidence building and we feel he would be happiest with another dog for companionship. As Buddy can be quite nervous we feel children in the home would be best being 8 years and above. ALSO it needs noting that Buddy WILL NOT walk on laminate or slippery surfaced floors sadly and although its a ridiculous stipulation any home would need to be adequatly carpeted/floored for him to feel comfortable or he will just freeze and get more and more upset. Being such a tall lad as well he can get himself into quite a pickle when he splays his legs as I know having had to carry him two flights down out of the pound he came from. This boy is a dream in the making and should turn into the most wonderful gentle soul with the capabilities of doing all things normal dogs do and should be easier and safer to off lead than most.
